To have an M-Pesa account

1- Find an M-Pesa Agent with your phone number and a valid official identification document (ID, Driving License, Voter Card, Passport, DIRE, Military Registration Card, Combatant Card, Demobilized Card, or Refugee Identification Card).

2- Give the document and your phone number to the Agent, who will open your M-Pesa account.

3- Afterwards, you will receive an SMS from M-Pesa with your initial PIN.

4- Type *150# and select the language. Choose an initial PIN and... Já está (it’s done) you’re already an M-Pesa family member.
