Launching of the first stone
Vodacom held this morning, to launch the first stone for its new premises, located at Avenida Presidente Carmona (behind the ISCTEM).
It is a modern design building, impressive, with 15 floors, consisting of offices, an auditorium with capacity for 40 people, one floor with meeting rooms, cafeteria for employees and parking for 360 cars.
The building was designed in order to be ecologically functional through the use of renewable energy.
Without escaping the traditional ritual, the ceremony included the blessing of the local lords, accompanied by the Vodacom PCA, Dr. Abdula, and the President of the Municipal Council of Maputo, Dr David Simango.
Work is expected to be completed until July 2010.
