Vodacom launches the second edition of the Program 'Dança dos Artistas' Vodacom

This year, in addition to the Mozambican artists, the program will have with the participation of foreign artists from Cape Verde.

• Melina (Model, Mozambique);
• Labiba (Singer and dancer, Mozambique);
• Didácia (Singer, Mozambique);
• Paulinha Teixeira (Singer, Cape Verde);
• Nélia Doce (TV presenter, Mozambique);
• Jeff Mendes (Singer, Mozambique);
• Dell Mare (Singer, Mozambique);
• Ta Basily (Singer, Mozambique);
• Amílcar Lopes (Singer, Cape Verde).

For the prize, the program will offer a cash prize to the winning artist. Being a program geared to the community and also with a strong impact on the area of social responsibility, 10% of the amount collected by the winning artist will accrue to a social institution (school, daycare centers for the elderly, etc.) previously chosen by the artist.

In addition to the weekly ranking of the jury, the winner of Dance Artists Vodacom will also be chosen by the public through the voting via SMS. It should be noted that the viewer who send more votes to the winning artist will be offered a car FLORID 0 KM (see the ilustrative image below).

Viewers will also have opportunity to download ringtones and wall papers of their favorite artists through an SMS system.

With regard to television coverage, the program will nationally be broadcast on Record Mozambique and internationally will also be exhibiting in Cape Verde, Switzerland, Germany an UK.

The jury will be composed by four personalities of national music and dance. Thus, the jury consists on Maria Jose Sacur, Candida Mata Sacur (both dance teachers), Marlene (singer and winner of the first edition) and Moreira Chonguiça (musician).
