3rd Gala of "Grand Prize of Journalism SNJ & Vodacom"
The third gala of the "Grand Prix of Journalism SNJ & Vodacom'' took place on November 25, 2010.
This competition aimed to promote the recognition of communication professionals who have excelled during the year by choosing the best works published in newspapers, radio and television.
The Grand Prize for Journalism 2010 has a total of eight (8) award categories and for this edition, only four categories were awarded: the premium "Abel Faife" to the best reporting was awarded to the journalist Arsenio Manhiça from Noticias, the prize 'Daniel Maquinasse" to the best photographic reportage was attributed to Carlos Bernardo also from Noticias, The prize "Leite Vasconcelos" to the best radio program that was attributed to the collective of journalists Luisa Menezes, Emidio de Oliveira, Maisha Tuzine Joao Fumane and Abilio Junior Matusse all from Radio Mozambique and the prize ''Teresa Sá Nogueira'' to the best televisive program that was attributed to Selma Marivate and Jose Macamo both from Record Mozambique.
Vodacom association to the National Union of Journalist aims to stimulate the Mozambican journalists to work towards raising much more the quality of investigative journalism in Mozambique.
