By registering your SIM card, you warn that other people commit crimes or frauds via phone using your phone number thus contributing to the maintenance of public order and tranquility and to create a public database with the numbers of phones and data associated therewith.
How to register your SIM card?
Vodacom puts at your disposal several ways to register your SIM card. See below and choose which is more feasible to you:
- Take a photocopy of your ID to a Vodacom shop, fill out the form and submit it to the shop agent to validate the registration, or;
- Send your registration documents by fax through the number 840904444. It's easy, place your documents on fax machine and type *0840904444 OK.
The process of Registration of SIM cards continues. The government authorised all mobile companies to continue with this process and they will indicate another end date.
